Dizzee Rascal confirmed to perform at Wembley Arena for Free The Children event

Grime star Dizzee Rascal has been added to the list of performers that will take the stage at London's Wembley Arena as part of We Day UK.

The event will be staged by Free The Children, which is an international charity and education partner, on March 7 at Wembley Arena and other guests previously confirmed to perform include Jennifer Hudson and Ellie Goulding.

In addition to musical guests, the event will boast talks from the likes of former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and Nobel Prize nominated activist Malala Yousafzai.

Earlier this week, Olympic skeleton bob star Lizzie Yarnold told London's Metro newspaper that she listens to Dizzee's music before competing as it helps get her pumped up: "I listen to a lot of grime. The big beats really get me going then about five minutes before I do my first run, I will take my ear-phones out and really try to tune in to the environment, so all my senses are totally focused on being ready to go down."
