London music night Get Lifted is launching a new online TV channel, Get Lifted TV, at a launch event at Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch on Wednesday 27 November.
Get Lifted Live was presented with the Deutsche Bank Award for Creative Enterprise in September, and takes place at Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch.
It combines a carefully curated selection of the best in up-and-coming unsigned talent with delectable sweets and cakes for a feel-good multisensory experience.
Complementing the flagship live music night, the new channel will feature live session videos from up-and-coming unsigned artists, as well as interviews with music industry figures and much more.
This month’s event will include performances from Hayley Cassidy and Chris Royal, as well as regular house band The Urban Jazz Station and DJ AJ.
Urban baking outfit TheCakeGirl Co, a company already renowned for their cake & custard parties, will be selling a selection of delicious cakes.

HAYLEY CASSIDY
Formally known as Hayley C, Hayley Cassidy’s solo career was first established within the genres of Neo Soul, Jazz and R&B. Throughout her journey, Hayley has performed at numerous venues, including The Jazz Café and Ronnie Scotts where she shared the soulful sounds of her EP ‘Real Talk.’ London born and raised, Ms. Cassidy genuinely stays true to her roots, having supported Alexandra Burke at a concert in Edinburgh and Miguel in Camden. Hayley’s musical growth continues to flourish as she released her debut album ‘Stripped’ in January 2013. Equipped with her infectious adlibs and meaningful lyrics Hayley hopes to show people that they are not alone as music is a beautiful tool in life, that can touch individuals in many ways for their own subjective reasons.

CHRIS ROYAL
Singer songwriter born and raised in Manchester, Chris has been singing all his life heavily influenced by soul jazz and gospel. Despite no musical background in his family Chris knew his place was on the stage weather in theatre or popular music. Chris always had a passion for music and as he got older realised that’s where his strength lay. Chris started to get work around the age of 17 after the success of channel 4s musicool which he was fortunate enough to be a part of, and since then he has performed at events around the UK showcasing his soulful voice. As well as musicool Chris has also been lucky enough to work within music touring with artists and opening for acts such as Ne-yo and T-Pain not to mention touring with Josh Groban as a backing vocalist for his sold out UK tour. Now at the age of 24 Chris knew he had to take the next step to peruse his musical dream. Now he lives in London where he is currently working on a project His first EP. Chris hopes in the next few years he can bring back that live soul sound for listeners to enjoy everywhere. "This is just the beginning"

Born from the house party culture, The CakeGirl Co. fuse music, fashion, and cake to create and enhance incredible events. Based in London The CakeGirl Co. bring something new, and exciting to the party scene. Cake and Custard Parties are what this company are known for… specialised events, that takes place in clubs and bars where cake, cupcakes and custard is served throughout the night canape style, keeping the home made tradition alive!
The cakes are baked in-house by the founder and director Eleasah Roberts. The Hidden Treasure Concession opens september 2013 in Clapham Park.
Branching out from the Cake and Custard parties The CakeGirl Co. manage/co host a variety of events in the domestic and corporate sectors. Ranging from parties to workshops The CakeGirl Co. are developing new ways in which they can spread this infectious movement throughout the nation.
