Glee brings tour to the UK and Ireland in 2011

Hit musical TV show Glee will be bringing its cast overseas in 2011 for a tour of the UK and Ireland.

The American programme, famed for bringing Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ back into the charts, has recently finished a tour of the U.S and Ryan Murphy, the shows creator, will be debuting the live extravagaza in the U.K in the summer of next year.

Murphy said of the tour:

“We had such a great time putting together last year's shows and the response from the fans was incredible. People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they've embraced our little show.”

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday, November 26 and the dates are as follow:

  • June 22 - MEN Arena in Manchester
  • June 25, 26 - O2 Arena in London
