'With You' is Jenae Louis-Jacques debut single, which was released February 15th! She wrote this song after the loss of a family member (her father's brother) who she has never met.

Even though Jenae Louis-Jacques did not has a strong connection to her uncle, his death really put a lot in perspective for her. Jenae began to think about the way she process grief/loss and all that came out when she wrote 'With You'.

Jenae Louis-Jacques grew up listening to a lot of music from the Classic R&B era so artists like Ottis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight are some of her biggest influences. She also look up to more modern artists like Beyoncé, Adele, Yebba, Lianne La Havas, Emily King, Brittany Howard, and so many more.
