‘Where All The Music Comes From’ is the opening track and first single from Al Shalliker’s 2021 debut solo album, ‘Silver Linings’. Although initially written more than 10 years ago, the song has been completely reinvented for Al’s latest project.

Featuring hook-driven harmonica playing and layered with harmony, ‘Where all the Music Comes From’ is suggestive of the folk-rock scene of the late 1960s while viewing loss and the art of songwriting from more than one perspective.

Al Shalliker is a singer-songwriter and musician from the city of Plymouth in England. The lead songwriter for Plymouth band Watershed, who were prolific live performers nationwide over a period of more than 20 years, Al is now producing music as a solo artist. His debut album, ‘Silver Linings’, due for release on 26th April 2021, features the two singles ‘Where all the Music Comes From’ and ‘The Voyage’.
