Written over shots of tequila in the early hours of the morning before departing Sydney airport, '808 Airfreight' combines the love of sleazy jazz-funk and reposado tequila in an attempt to describe an individual's strange sense of anonymity whilst travelling through airports. The single will be promoted by touring our favourite spots on the east coast of Australia.

After spending time touring Australia and self-releasing two singles, Red Revel caught the attention of Fogwood Records. After signing a deal with the US based indie label the band immediately booked studio time and '808 Airfreight' will be the first release under Fogwood Records.

Red Revel is an explosion of jazz-funk anthems, who's captivating energetic performances have been transporting audiences back in time to the golden age of 70's funk rock. Well established within the local scene, the Sydney based group has graced the stage at several of Sydney's iconic venues including, The Factory Theatre, The Vanguard and Frankie's Pizza.
