'Sing From The Heart', the new single from Northern Irish singer songwriter Pete Gardiner, is a powerful alt/country meets folk/rock jam about a desperate man at the end of his rope who has had enough of the pandemic, society and life in general and finally decides to stop conforming and become an outlaw.

Reminiscent of Michael Douglas’ character in the movie “Falling Down”, the song is, more or less, an elaborate, glorified way of saying “To Hell with it”.

Pete Gardiner is a rarity, a true songsmith, a poet who sets his stories to music. Pete writes about doomed, alcohol fuelled love affairs, our celebrity obsessed culture, vanity, greed, violence and lust with a style and passion inspired by his songwriting heroes Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen. Growing up in Northern Ireland in the 90’s, there was no shortage of subject matter for Pete’s unique ability with words. London based Pete is a regular on BBC Radio and a host of blogs and streaming playlists.
