OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

'Sinner' tells the tale of the forlorn and explores the confusion that comes after being left by someone who made and then broke promises of love. The narrative, in some ways, mirrors the stages of grief, developing from a melancholy wistfulness to an emotional crescendo and ending in a sweet but sorrowful calm. The song fits the bands identity, speaking to people that feel lost, while being reminiscent of a sound that has all but been lost to the modern scene.

Lost//Youth is an Alt/Rock band based in South Africa and fronted by Irish singer-songwriter Alanna Joy. 'Sinner' is their second release and it shows their softer side, with an Alt/Folk feel.

Lost//Youth are influenced by bands from before their time, such as Fleetwood Mac, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Thin Lizzy and Aerosmith. They strive to create a unique, distinctive identity and yet hope to be reminiscent of a sound that has been lost to the modern world.
