Guns N' Roses announce UK arena tour

Guns N' Roses have announced a seven date UK tour due to take place later this year.

NME reports that the seminal rockers will return to Britain in May to play a number of arenas around the country, kicking off in Nottingham before ending up at London's O2 Arena on May 31.

The announcement comes as speculation mounts over the possible reformation of the original line-up of the band. Whilst the current incarnation of Guns N' Roses only contains one member from their 1980s line-up - singer Axl Rose - it has been confirmed that the original members will be in the same room together at the upcoming Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

The full 2012 Guns N' Roses UK tour meanwhile is as follows:

Nottingham Capital FM Arena (May 19)
Liverpool Echo Arena (May 20)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (May 23)
Glasgow SECC (May 25)
Birmingham LG Arena (May 26)
Manchester Evening News Arena (May 29)
London O2 Arena (May 31)
