Gwen Stefani: "I will admit that song is about that guy"

Gwen Stefani finally broke her silence about her new romance on her latest chat show appearance.

The 46-year-old singer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (February 18) where she revealed that her new single Make Me Like You is about her fellow The Voice judge and new squeeze, Blake Shelton.

The song opens with the following verse:

"I was fine before I met you
I was broken but fine
I was lost and uncertain
But my heart was still mine
I was free before I met you
I was broken but free
All alone in the clear view, but now you are all I see"

Stefani remained coy about her new relationship but did reveal: "I will admit that song is about that guy."

In reference to her divorce from Gavin Rossdale and the impact it had on her song-writing, she said:

"What's so crazy is that sometimes tragedy, if you really absorb it, you can turn it into something beautiful.

And this whole album is really about trying to take something awful and healing from it and turn it into something beautiful."
