On January 4, 2013, celebrity and entertainment blogger, Perez Hilton exclusively revealed Blu's first single as a solo act which MTV.com declared,

After his performance on the Latin Grammys® in November 2012 alongside Best New Artist winners, 3Ball MTY, Blu announced the release of his first Latin record which will be unveiled Spring 2013. Blu's debut album is set to release Summer 2013 and will include both singles. Sky Blu and Big Bad University are currently on tour, performing in selected major cities worldwide.
