Jack Osbourne has revealed that he has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Osbourne told People about the shock news, adding that he was initially "angry and frustrated" when he heard the diagnosis.

He became a father recently after his fiancee Lisa Stelly gave birth to their first child, Pearl Clementine.

Speaking about the diagnosis of MS, which affects the central nervous system, Osbourne said:

"I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?'. I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be the most important thing."

Osbourne meanwhile took to Twitter this morning (June 18) to thank fans for their support. He said:

"Thank you all so much for the kind and inspirational words. It means a lot. #adaptandovercome."
