Justin Bieber to his fans: "I hope I'm there for you guys as much as you're there for me"

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber recorded an emotional video message for his fans in Mexico after a staggering 300,000 of them turned up to his free concert there on June 11.

Bieber has been hosting secret shows around the world in support of his new album 'Believe' and was astonished to find that over 250,000 people showed up to watch him perform in Mexico City 2 days ago.

In a self-recorded video clip that he uploaded to YouTube, the 'Boyfriend' sensation expressed how overcome with emotion he was to find that so many people wanted to hear his music and had shown such phenomenal support for him:

"I don't really get nervous, I don't really get phased by it but I definitely feel a certain way today having these 250,000 people here to watch me."

"I never thought that so many people would want to hear my music and I can't say how thankful I am. I can't say how thankful I am that each one of you care enough to write messages to me on Twitter."

"I feel a responsibility and I hope I'm there for you guys as much as you are there for me."

The caption he chose to accompany the video also said: "I shot this on my phone tonight backstage in Mexico City before the show tonight. Put on a free show and 300,000 people showed up."

"Alot of emotions but just wanted to say I wouldnt be here without all of your support. Wanted you to know how I feel. Thanks for everything I hope you chase every dream as you are helping me live mine every day. thank you."
