Singer and actor Justin Timberlake has opened up about his relationship with Jessica Biel and described her as "a really, really, really special person".

He praised her beauty and their compatibility during a press conference with Hollywood Foreign Press about his new movie, 'Trouble With The Curve', and even revealed how he first asked her out:

"She's a really, really, really special person. Plus, she's really, really, hot! We met and got talking. Afterwards I asked my friend if I could call her and ask her out. My friend called Jessica and Jessica said yes, and so I called her."

"I did it the old fashioned way -- by telephone. That's something I learned from both my stepdad and my grandfather -- that there is a thing called chivalry and it doesn't have to die with the birth of the internet. The way I see it, if you're asking a girl out on a date, it's only right to do it in a way that she can hear your voice. I had to be pretty persistent in order to get her to say yes. But I have a fair amount of tenacity and if I want something I stick to it. And in the end she agreed."

When asked about how they keep their relationship strong while living in the public eye, Timberlake joked: "We have a couple of rules in our relationship. The first rule is that I make her feel like she's getting everything. The second rule is that I actually do let her have her way in everything. And, so far, it's working."
