Justin Timberlake's return sees ticket searches surge

Yesterday, 'Cry Me A River' superstar Justin Timberlake made his return to music with a brand new single and the release of the track saw an online surge in people searching for tickets to see him perform live.

The singer unveiled 'Suit & Tie' last night (January 13) after teasing fans with a 3-day countdown earlier last week and ticket retailer Viagogo has now reported that demand on their marketplace has significantly increased since.

Viagogo spokesperson Ed Parkinson explained in a statement: "Justin Bieber tickets are always in hot demand on the site, but this recent spike in demand for a Justin Timberlake tour may suggest there is only room for one Justin in pop this year."

"The return of the original Justin may leave Bieber crying a river," he added.

Timberlake posted a message to his official Twitter page earlier this morning that explained the song has already hit No.1 on iTunes: "Just woke up and heard we're #1 on Itunes! Wow... Speechless. Thank you, thank you, thank you! #SuitAndTie."
