Justin Timberlake: 'I want to re-work the musical'

Singer and Hollywood actor Justin Timberlake has revealed that combining both of his career paths in a movie project would be his ideal work situation and he's now trying to look for ways in which he can restructure the typical musical genre to make it relevant and cool again.

During a new interview with Alan Carr on 'Chatty Man', the superstar explained that acting in 'Inside Llewyn Davis' meant that he got to show off his vocal talents and hopes to do so again in the future:

"Funnily enough, I have a film with one of the national treasures here, Carey Mulligan, the Cohen Brothers film, which was actually the first time I've ever got to sing in a movie."

"The funny thing about me is I've been trying to find a way to modernise and re-work the musical, so I''ve been pitching people more than they've been pitching me about stuff like that. I think there could be something interesting on how to do it."
