Kasabian's brand new album, 'Velociraptor!', has entered the midweek chart update at No.1, knocking Ed Sheeran's '+' off the top spot. 

If the record remains at the top by Sunday, September 25 when the positions are confirmed it will be the band's third Number One album. 

Meanwhile, Christina Perri's 'Lovestrong' has debuted at No.4, Tony Bennett's 'Duets II' entered at No.5 and Mick Jagger and Joss Stone's new project, SuperHeavy, have made an appearance with their debut self-titled album at No.10.
