Katy Perry has unveiled the artwork for her new single.

The US superstar is releasing the Juicy J collaboration 'Dark Horse' as the latest cut from her 2013 effort 'Prism'.

The artwork for the track sees Perry in animated form, with the singer wearing armour. The cover was designed by Yao Xiao.

Perry meanwhile took to Twitter to confirm that 'Dark Horse' has reached the top of the US iTunes chart.

She said: "So...it really is the year of the Horse! Just landed in China to see Dark Horse at #1 on ITUNES US. What an unexpected, lovely, surprise."
