In a bizarre sartorial statement, Katy Perry has been spotted sporting an Indian bridal nose ring - otherwise known as a nath - as she arrived at Jaipur, India airport today.

She appears to be thoroughly embracing Indian tradition ahead of her wedding to funnyman Russell Brand on Saturday (October 23), which is set to take place at the luxurious Rambagh Palace - where Russell popped the question on New Year's Eve.

While Perry went for the traditional look, her hubby-to-be was looking somewhat more serious in a brown leather coat and large sunglasses.

Other family members and wedding guests have been arriving in Jaipur, including Brand's mother Barbara, and Perry’s parents.
