Ke$ha joins “It Gets Better” campaign

Ke$ha is the latest celebrity to join columnist Dan Savage’s It Gets Better campaign, which was launched following the suicide of an American teenager last month. Tyler Clementi, a New Jersey student, jumped to his death after he was outted as gay on the internet, and his case has highlighted the very real dangers of bullying.

The campaign, which targets lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered youths, is also backed by Sia, Glee’s Chris Colfer and comedienne Kathy Griffin.

In her video message, Ke$ha says: “To anybody who’s being bothered, abused, harassed or bullied, I just wanna tell you that it will get better. However you are choosing to live is beautiful.”
