Lady Gaga decides to self-quarantine amid coronavirus outbreak

Lady Gaga has decided to self-quarantine and "not hang out with people over 65" amid the coronavirus crisis.

COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It's caused by a virus called the coronavirus.

The 33-year-old superstar took to Instagram to reveal how she's coping with the global health crisis and offer advice to her followers.

Gaga wrote on the platform: "So I talked to some doctors and scientists. It's not the easiest for everyone right now but the kindest/healthiest thing we can do is self-quarantine and not hang out with people over 65 and in large groups.

"I wish I could see my parents and grandmas right now but it's much safer to not so I don't get them sick in case I have it.

"I'm hanging at home with my dogs. I love you world, we'll all get through this. Trust me, I talked to God - she said we're gonna be ok. (sic)"

On March 13, Gaga had written: "We're in this together. I love you world 🌎❤️".

Gaga released her new single, "Stupid Love," along with a music video last month on February 28, after it was leaked online in January of this year.

The song is the first track released from her upcoming sixth studio ablum, Chromatica, which also marks her first since 2016's Joanne.

Chromatica is due to be released on April 10 via Interscope Records.
