Lana Del Rey: 'I wish I was dead already'

Sultry songstress Lana Del Rey has revealed that despite having the kind of life many people will only ever dream of, she doesn't enjoy it most of the time.

During a new interview with The Guardian newspaper, she explained that she's tired of being a star and is even tired of just being alive: "I wish I was dead already. I do! I don't want to have to keep doing this. But I am. That's just how I feel. If it wasn't that way, then I wouldn't say it. I would be scared if I knew [death] was coming, but..."

She went onto add that she doesn't understand the appeal her existence has and when people say how envious they are of how she lives, she just can't seem to get on board with their excitement: "Family members will come on the road with me and say: 'Wow, your life is just like a movie!' And I'm like: 'Yeah, a really fucked-up movie.'"

When asked if she at least enjoyed her rise to fame with the fast-growing popularity of her breakthrough single, 'Video Games', the beauty admitted that even that was a drag: "I never felt any of the enjoyment. It was all bad, all of it."
