Lana Del Rey has released teaser details of a new short film project.

Titled ‘Tropico’ the ‘Video Games’ songstress stated on Twitter that it will be a “30 minute film” and is “coming to a theatre near you.”

She also stated: “Premier dates coming soon.”

The poster for ‘Tropico’ shows a black and white image of Del Rey holding a snake. The artwork also describes the film as “a tale of redemption” which will be set to the soundtrack of Lana’s tracks ‘Body Electric’, ‘Gods and Monsters’ and ‘Bel Air’.

The film's director is Anthony Mandler who previously directed Lana Del Rey’s ‘National Anthem’ and ‘Ride’ music videos.

Rick Rubin has produced the film whilst model Shuan Ross will be Lana’s co-star.
