Producer and singer-songwriter Max Restaino hails from Sheffield. Alongside his beautifully smooth voice, he plays saxophone, guitar, piano, harmonica, accordion and ukulele and by 9 was performing live on BBC TV and National radio. Along with the cast of Nikolai Foster’s Musical production of Assassin’s, Max picked up a nomination for a Tony Award for his part as Billy.

Other awards include the PRS Song writing Award for the song ‘Fall’, featured on the SKY TV programme Tin Pan Alley and two songs from the album, ‘The Time It Takes’, gained a concession of hits in the Club and Dance Charts with the singles ‘Sugar Rush‘ and ‘Fireflies‘ making the top 10. As a session player, Max has worked for artists such as Gary Barlow and Donny Osmond and UK’s comedian Peter Kay for his Phoenix Nights Live Show and hit BBC1 TV series Car Share.

Live on stage the multi-instrumentalist switches between guitar, piano and saxophone and has appeared as special invited guest for Peter Andre, Tears for Fears, Steps, Rebecca Ferguson, UB40 and Shane Filan.

Max is releasing his upcoming EP featuring ‘Here for Christmas’ and ‘Lovers in London’. Max recorded the EP with Phil Springer, the original composer of ‘Santa Baby’ and BBC Radio 1 DJ legend and songwriter, Mike Read.
