5SOS's Ashton: 'This past weekend was one of the most incredible weekends of my life'

Australian heartthrob Ashton Irwin, who drums in the band 5 Seconds Of Summer, has posted an adorable video update this afternoon (November 18) to thank his fans for the past weekend at their Derp Con convention.

The band held the event in Los Angeles and also performed two sold-out concerts at LA's The Forum, and Irwin explained how everything that happened was a complete dream come true:

"Hello! I just wanted to make a video to tell you guys and thank you guys for everything this weekend - the past weekend. It's been one of the most incredible weekends of my life. I can't believe we got to headline two Forums and got to play a show in Phoenix... I can't wait to take the show everywhere in the world and to see as many of you as we can. I love you so much."

The 'She Looks So Perfect' pop-punkers, meanwhile, have now finished their last live commitments for the year and Michael Clifford told his Twitter followers that he can't wait for 2015 and to hit the road on their very first headlining arena tour: "Last show of the year last night. Wah. So stupidly excited for the tour next year."
