5SOS excited to play Madison Square Garden: 'Let's blow the roof off'

Aussie pop-punkers 5 Seconds Of Summer will take the stage at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden later tonight for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. 

The lads are set to perform live at the venue this evening and shared a link via Twitter where fans around the globe will be able to stream their set from. They explained:

"Playing the @iHeartRadio #iHeartJingleBall in NYC tonight ! you can watch it live on @YahooScreen here if ya like: http://yhoo.it/13hqJ1g."

The band's drummer Ashton Irwin also shared an update about the impending concert and told his 3.19 million followers that it's an honour to be playing Madison Square Garden: "First ever gig at the beautiful Madison Square Garden tonight, let's blow the roof off it!!!!"

The heartthrobs, meanwhile, teased their fans with news of a busy 2015 on social media this afternoon and admitted that it will be another crazy year: "So much cool sh*t happening next year!!! After we all gain 1000 pounds over Christmas."
