Rachel Stevens has been drafted in to replace the pregnant Frankie Bridge on the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing live tour.

The Saturdays singer confirmed on Thursday (January 8) that she has to leave the tour - which is taking place in January and February - due to her pregnancy.

However, 2008 Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Rachel Stevens has stepped in to replace Bridge.

Her official website stated today (January 9): "Rachel has been confirmed to join the cast of the 2015 Strictly Come Dancing UK tour, stepping in for Frankie Bridge, who is pregnant and has reluctantly withdrawn on the advice of her doctor."

The tour will open at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena on January 16.

It will visit cities such as Manchester and Glasgow before concluding with two dates at London's O2 Arena in early February.
