Fergie admits Black Eyed Peas might release album without her

Fergie has suggested that The Black Eyed Peas could make a new album without her.

Band dynamo will.i.am recently confirmed in an interview that the group would be reuniting later this year to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

He added that they will have "new music" that might not take the traditional form of an album.

Speaking to Digital Spy, singer Fergie hinted that she might sit out of the celebrations due to her joining the group in the early 2000s.

She said: "I was just in the studio last week and I saw Taboo there, and I heard something Will was doing and it was great. But maybe the guys are doing something? I haven't been in the group for 20 years, so it's more their anniversary of being together for 20 years. So maybe they're putting out an album themselves."

When asked if they are all in contact regularly, Fergie replied:

"Well I just saw Taboo at the studio for a few minutes, but I'm working on my stuff and I only have a certain amount of hours I can be in the studio because I have Axl. So I'm just very focused on finishing my album right now."
