Little Mix on third album: 'It's very 80s and our parents really love it'

Girl group Little Mix are currently putting the finishing touches to their upcoming third studio album and they opened up about the record's sound during a new interview with Tabloid! magazine in Dubai.

Member Jesy Nelson teased that the 80s influenced this new offering and said: "It’s very 80s, so it’s a whole new sound we’ve gone for. We love trying new things and experimenting and taking risks, that’s what we’re all about."

Leigh-Anne Pinnock also admitted that the 90s inspired them, too: “We’ve sort of done the 90s thing, as well, so we wanted to try something new and different.”

Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards went onto add that their loved ones have heard some of the songs and gave them all a collective stamp of approval: "Obviously our parents love it, as well, so we got inspiration from them. The ball got rolling and we got kind of obsessed with this sound and production."
