Nickelback have shelved their entire tour due to vocal rest

Nickelback have shelved the remainder of their No Fixed Address world tour as singer Chad Kroeger recovers from vocal surgery.

The musician underwent an operation on his voice box in June, but doctors have ordered a prolonged period of rest.

The dates affected were due to take place in Europe from September 30 to December 7.

It includes a lengthy UK tour that was due to visit London's Wembley Arena on November 24.

Nickelback said in a statement: "We are saddened to announce that we are forced to cancel all remaining dates for the 2015 No Fixed Address World Tour due to an extended period of vocal rest ordered for Chad, who recently underwent surgery on his voice box.

"We are sorry to miss our fans out on the road this fall, but Chad’s health, healing and full recovery are what is most important right now. Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase."
