Harry Styles admits disappointment having to cancel Belfast show

One Direction shocked fans in Belfast this week by cancelling their live performance just before it was due to begin due to illness in the band.

Singer Liam Payne fell ill before their set and was unable to feel well enough to make it onstage, so the entire show was axed and rescheduled for tomorrow. Speaking to BBC Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans, member Harry Styles explained that he and the other lads are just very sorry for the sudden cancellation and they are as disappointed as the fans:

"He was trying to get there... and he was just very, very ill. To be honest we feel kinda lucky that we got to this point and never cancelled one (concert), so obviously we're all very disappointed..."

"But it happened so late because we were trying to get on and then it was just impossible, he wasn't well enough so we very, very much apologise to everyone. We're very sorry. We're very disappointed ourselves, as I said."
