Adam Lambert: 'My styling is similar to where I am headed with my music'

'Ghost Town' sensation Adam Lambert has revealed that his evolution of style came about because he wanted to be more authentic as a performer and artist.

During a new interview with the Independent newspaper in Britain, the hitmaker confessed that he's changing his appearance as his music grows, so it's just a natural progression rather than a pre-orchestrated decision:

"My styling is similar to where I am headed with my music; as I’ve evolved I’m in this place where I’m realising the value in less is more. A little bit of restraint actually can be really beautiful. My whole mission as an entertainer is to communicate with people and to share an experience and sometimes you pull more people in with the less is more approach."

Lambert's single 'Ghost Town', meanwhile, was put at No.2 on Rolling Stone's list of the year's best tracks. The magazine described the song as "one of the most criminally overlooked dance tracks of the year". It added: "American Idol-alum and guest frontman for Queen delivered one of the year's most shocking drops and best house single with 'Ghost Town'.
