Stars pay tribute to Ronnie Corbett, who has died at 85

Earlier today (March 31), news broke that iconic British entertainer Ronnie Corbett CBE has died at the age of 85 with his family around him.

Corbett was best known for The Two Ronnies and was a legendary comedian, and fellow stars of the entertainment industry have been posting their tributes to him online following the sad news of his passing. 

Ricky Gervais wrote: "RIP the lovely, funny legend Ronnie Corbett. It was an absolute honour & joy to have known him."

Funnyman and actor Jack Whitehall posted a tweet, which reads: "RIP Ronnie Corbett, what a brilliant and funny man he was."

From the music world, 'Over And Over Again' hitmaker Nathan Sykes tweeted: "Really sad to hear that Ronnie Corbett has passed away. One of the greatest entertainers." Sigma also shared a post, which reads: "Ronnie Corbett! How sad."

Lawson's Andy Brown added: "2016 has taken another legend. Ronnie Corbett you'll be missed xxx."
