'Glee' star “honoured” by Billboard award

Glee’ star Lea Michele was thrilled last night (December 2) after winning Billboard magazine’s first ever Triple Threat Award.

The singing star – who plays Rachel on the popular musical show – picked up the award at the 2010 Billboard Women in Music Event in New York. Other award winners included Jazmine Sullivan and Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie, who won the Woman of the Year award.

Michele took to her Twitter page after the awards to express her thanks for the accolade as well as praise her fellow winners.

She tweeted: "Just left Billboards Women in Music Awards. So amazing.  Fergie & Jazmine Sullivan were so inspiring. Such an honour. Thank you Billboard."
