Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has been hit by a serious virus, a bacterial infection that has caused him to lose his voice.

The band are currently touring around Europe and will be hitting the UK and Ireland later this month.

However, the cold climate currently plaguing Europe has left the band more than a little bit under the weather and now drummer Nathan is not even able to speak after catching a bug.

Frontman Caleb Followill told The Sun: "The crowds have been great. When we do these runs in the dead of winter, people get sick and stuff like that but apart from Nathan, we're all fine."
