Radiohead tweet mysterious Japanese location

Radiohead are making the most of the promotional time left before their new album, 'The King Of Limbs', is released on Saturday, February 19. 

Tweeting earlier this morning, February 17, the band wrote a message to fans in Japanese which translates as "Hachiko Square Shibuya, 59 minutes at 18 Friday":

"渋谷 ハチ公広場 金曜日 18時59分"

Following the cryptic message, NME got in touch with Radiohead's team to shed some light on the mysterious location, which happens to be set at one of the busiest pedestrian areas in Tokyo, and a spokesperson has confirmed:

"The band will not be in Japan tomorrow so people should not go to Shibuya expecting to see the band in person,"

A live appearance has been ruled out, but the area has many large screens around it so there is a possibility of a broadcast although nothing has been confirmed. Watch the video for their track 'Creep' here:
