Ellie Goulding spent this afternoon performing a special cover for Radio 1's Live Lounge. 

She chose to sing The Knife's 'Heartbeats', which was made even more popular after José Gonzalez tackled it back in 2005, and tweeted about her performance earlier today:

"Practicing my cover for @fakejowhiley down at radio1. I think we're on in about half an hour x"

"Remember dancing around my room listening to the knife's "heartbeats" so lucky I got to do a cover of it today and I <3 Jo"
