Fresh media reports have suggested that Beyoncé has given birth a baby girl.

The internet has consistently been awash with interest in the birth of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's first child, but multiple sources suggest that the couple have now welcomed the new addition to their family, according to Billboard.

Some reports indicate that the baby is called Blue Ivy Carter, but others say Ivy Blue Carter, with 'Ivy Blue' a hot trending topic on Twitter. Neither party has officially confirmed the news of the supposed birth.

That hasn't stopped the likes of Rihanna however seemingly tweeting about the apparent birth. The singer posted on her Twitter page earlier this morning (January 8):

"Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih."
