George Michael denies Wham! reunion rumours

Wham! will not be reuniting for the 30th anniversary of the band's first single, according to the Guardian.

Rumours have been circulating that the seminal duo may reform for the landmark milestone, but a spokeswoman for George Michael told the newspaper that such talk is nonsense.

The reports had suggested that Wham! would return for a "one-off pop extravaganza" but the claims are seemingly wide of the mark.

Michael however recently confirmed that he would be releasing a new single called 'White Light' in celebration of the 30th anniversary.

He said that he would unveil the song to "radio on the exact anniversary of the chart date" when the song 'Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do)' originally entered the UK chart.
