Former X Factor panelist Cheryl Cole has revealed that the British royal family aren't as "untouchable" as people seem to think.

The star has spoken out about her love for them before, recently joking with Katy Perry on the set of The Graham Norton Show about fighting over Prince Harry's affections, and told Daybreak in an interview that she 'loves' the flame-haired Prince:

"He's just a great lad. You think of the Royals sometimes and you think of them as untouchable, or different to us. They're actually really not, they're really down to earth. I love him."

She also opened up about her forthcoming arena tour and admitted that she's nervous about performing in such huge venues: "I've done the huge arena tours with Girls Aloud before, but to do it on my own is still a daunting prospect."
