Elbow confirm hiatus plansPopular indie rockers Elbow have announced that a six-month break is on the cards for them after they finish their forthcoming UK arena tour. Frontman Guy Garvey explained that after they finish their run of live dates later this year they will step away from the band for a while so that he can work on writing music for a musical based on King Kong: "We've got our arena tour this November and December, which will be like a farewell party." "We've already done six songs for the next album, then we'll come back to finish it next year." Elbow's tour is due to begin on November 26 at Nottingham's Capital FM Arena and it will finish the following month, on December 2, in London.
