Former Disney starlet Miley Cyrus has laughed off the rumours that suggest she will have numerous weddings and stressed that it will be a one-day event and she wants to make it her dream event.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, the 'Can't Be Tamed' star discussed getting married to her fiance Liam Hemsworth and explained that the press twist everything into ludicrous stories:

"This is the one day when it's what I choose and every detail is things that I love... There is some rumour going around that I'm having like 47 weddings. I'm not. I'm having one wedding. That's my day and whatever I want on that day will be about me and that moment... That's what I picture, that moment when he first gets to see me in my dress and everything all together."

"It has to be perfect. It has to be like the soundtrack in like a movie. It's the one day that that movie c**p is real. That romance. That look (between the bride and groom) is the time that you get that."

When asked when the ceremony is likely to be, Cyrus admitted that she's very busy at the moment with her music career and would like it to take place at a quieter time:

"I don't want to in between touring and trying to plan all that. I didn't really realise until I got a wedding planning book what you have to decide on. Like, I don't care what colour the napkins are to be honest... It's a lot of weird detail. I don't want to be doing too much and be crazy."
