Christina Aguilera has teased about a possible collaboration with teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber.

The international songstress attended the American Music Awards (AMAs) on Sunday (November 18) where Bieber - who scooped three awards - was also performing.

Aguilera revealed to Extra that she would contemplate a collaboration with the award-winning Canadian star: “I’m really into this song right now called, ‘As Long as You Love Me’ and it’s Justin Bieber’s song, so I’m actually looking forward to it tonight.

"Would I collaborate with Justin? Who knows, the possibilities are endless, so we'll see."

Aguilera is finishing up her stint as a judge on TV talent show The Voice US, with R&B star Usher taking over on the coveted panel.

When asked what words of advice she has for the singer, she jokingly replied:  “Get ready, get ready for a wild ride!”

She continued: "I have all the faith in the world that he will do a great job.”
