Justin Bieber's mother urges fans to avoid 'fake' stories about her son

Teen sensation Justin Bieber endured a stressful week in the UK recently and his mother, Pattie Mallette, has hit out at 'fake' news stories that paint her son in a bad light.

Last week, the 'Boyfriend' superstar was filmed scrapping with a photographer, turned up 2 hours late to a concert at the O2 Arena and then had to be rushed to hospital following another performance, and every event that took place has since been covered in the British press.

Mallette took to her official Twitter page late last night (Match 11) and told her followers: "Crazy rumors, fake fights & fake "sources". Don't believe most of what u hear/read."

During an interview with German newspaper Bild, Bieber explained that he has been missing home and even spent his 19th birthday without his mother, which was a first for both of them.

On March 1, his birthday, Mallette tweeted: "Happy 19th Birthday @justinbieber!! First Bday I'm not with you! Miss u like crazy. Have a good one!!! Love mom. Xoxo" Watch Bieber's clash with the paparazzi below:
