'Scream & Shout' pop sensation Britney Spears was so impressed by watching Disney starlet Selena Gomez tackle one of her songs that she offered to duet with her if the opportunity ever presents itself.

Spears was shown a YouTube video of Gomez and the other girls from the cast of 'Spring Breakers', namely Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine, performing a karaoke-style cover of 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' at a SXSW press event (pictured above left) in Texas and loved her rendition so much she tweeted about it and shared the clip with her 24.6 million followers.

Writing on the social networking site earlier today (March 12), Spears exclaimed: "Awww @selenagomez can duet with me anytime. PS- I heard @springbreakers is AAA-MAZING! Can't wait to see it!"

Gomez has since seen Spears' message of praise and just replied: "@BritneySpears I can't breath. [sic] My life is made! Thank you!!"
