Danny O'Donoghue enjoying perks of being TV star

Danny O'Donoghue has admitted that he enjoys the attention that comes with being on TV.

The Script frontman signed up to feature on talent show The Voice UK last year and he is due to appear on the second series, which airs tonight (March 30).

Speaking to The Sun, O'Donoghue said that being on mainstream television has helped him reach a new audience of adoring females. He said:

"Being on TV is like an accelerator."

The singer continued: "The girls in the street that would pass you by are the same girls stopping and going fanatical over you. And you get a real kick out of it. Do I kiss the girls? Of course I do. I'm a living, breathing man. If I weren't in the public eye I wouldn't get the same action I do now - I've got a face like a foot."
