A video of One Direction having a kickabout with Newcastle Utd Football Club has emerged online.

As previously reported, the boys recently spent time at Newcastle's training ground as they mingled with players, coaches and fans.

Harry Styles turned heads by appearing in a photo from the day topless alongside defender Danny Simpson.

A video has now emerged from their visit that jokingly plays on the story that One Direction - minus Zayn Malik - were there on trial in an attempt to win contracts with the Premier League football club.

It doesn't quite go to plan, however, with the lads failing to impress the team's manager Alan Pardew - apart from Louis Tomlinson that is, who was deemed the best of a bad bunch.
