New Kids on the Block concert cancelled over border delayA performance featuring reformed boyband New Kids on the Block has been cancelled as the band’s ‘The Package’ tour was held up at the Canadian border. A statement on the band’s website reads: “The Package tour was unfortunately delayed at the Canadian border earlier today and as a result has impacted the time required for the shows production and crew to prepare for tonight's concert in Ottawa. “As a result, The Package Tour featuring New Kids On The Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men have rescheduled their Ottawa performance tonight to Wednesday, June 5 at Scotiabank Place. All tickets purchased for the original performance this evening will be honoured tomorrow.” A rep for the band confirmed to Tmz.com that several gear trucks and key crew members were halted at the border for such a long time that the concert had to be scrapped. The band members however, arrived safely and on time.
