The Wanted have offered more details on their apparent new collaboration with Justin Bieber.

As previously reported, the boyband recently revealed that they have worked with the Canadian on fresh material, as well as the likes of Rita Ora.

Speaking to the Mirror, Nathan Sykes said that Bieber offered the group a song that didn't make it onto his last album, with the Brits hoping that the singer can duet on the track. He said:

"The one thing that’s great about Justin Bieber is he’s really focused. No matter the amount that’s happened in his life he knows exactly where he wants to be and I respect that. We spent some time with him in America and after a show he said, ‘Mate I’m really buzzing about this new song do you want to come and check it out'.

"Then the next week he sent us a message and said his album wasn’t going to be ready in time for it. He offered it to us and I was flattered because I was telling him he should make it his next single. We’re hoping he can get on the track for the album."

Tom Parker meanwhile praised the 'Believe' star's writing abilities, adding:

"The song is actually really good, Justin is a really good writer."
