Tyreezy teams up with August.III on smooth trap track Richie Rich, released 15th October 2021.

Richie Rich is a musical contradiction in every way – gritty 808 bass rumbles are accompanied by light and glassy synth chords, whilst August.III’s baritone vocals complement Tyreezy’s signature melodic runs. A perfectly balanced late-night mood-setter.

Tyreezy skyrocketed to the limelight after a feature on Manchester rapper Aitch’s Already back in 2019, later joining fellow Mancunian rapper Geko on tour before the pandemic hit.

August.III is no stranger to big name collabs either, having dropped Desire earlier in the year featuring afrobeats superstar Bella Shmurda and with a remix of debut banger Paaji due later in the year featuring none other than dancehall king, Beenie Man.

Released under Marylebone Records, the label to which both artists are signed, Richie Rich is Tyreezy’s third drop of the year. Earlier in 2021, Tyreezy released Come Through, followed by wavy ballad Separate Rooms. Tyreezy was previously signed to global label Universal before jumping ship to join independent London label Marylebone Records.

2019 saw Tyreezy feature on Aitch’s Already, reaching 43 in the mainstream charts and clocking more than 1.4 million views on Youtube.

Skyrocketing into the mainstream thanks to a feature for track Oh Nah on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, Tyreezy – the Henny Boi – spent much of his time pre-pandemic touring with Geko and signed a short-term deal with Universal, releasing On My Way. With Covid-19 putting a stop to live music, Ty hit the studios to build his tracklist ready for when the world reopens.

Manchester born and bred, Tyreezy is part of the growing wave of UK urban artists putting 0161 on the map. His first drop under new label Marylebone Records, Come Through, dropped earlier in 2021, followed by smash Separate Rooms.
